The world is an endlessly fascinating place, full of landscapes, cultures, wildlife, and cities waiting to be explored. I fell in love with traveling a long time ago, and along the way I found another passion that perfectly complements it: photography.
Travel photography added a whole new layer to the way I experience the world. Trying to capture each place at its best pushes me to look closer, to see from new perspectives, and to connect more deeply with the people and cultures I encounter.
My name is Sjoerd, a photographer based in the Netherlands. I tell stories through photography and video, whether it’s about destinations, people, or brands I feel a genuine connection with. Besides travel photography, I also focus on commercial work, creating high-quality content and authentic exposure for brands and organizations that share the same values of exploration, sustainability, and storytelling.
